Slater's Bridge / Little Langdale
Slater’s Bridge is one of those places that once you have visited, you want to go back time and time again. It crosses the River Brathway in Langdale, Cumbria/ England and probably dates to the 17th Century. There‘s something special about this well worn pedestrian bridge which you can’t quite grasp. Once It was used by miners, heading for their quarries, now it is a key link for popular walking routes in the area. With stunning views of the surrounding hills and the soothing sound of water, it is difficult to think of a nicer place on a sunny afternoon.
